    Join us on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. in 104 Golisano Hall on the Hartwick College campus in Oneonta, NY for the final spring semester meeting of MUG ONE, the Macintosh User Group of Oneonta, NY.

    Planning to travel internationally with your iPhone and/or iPad? Keith Robisch will share tips on the best way to communicate without spending a lot of money. Then Brian Foley will show how to digitize a collection of cassettes, and Mark Dye will share local resources for recycling electronics, batteries and televisions.

    As always, the meeting will begin with a question and answer session and end with a door prize drawing for current members.

  • April 11, 2019 – Apple’s Dave Marra

    Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will make his 17th annual visit to MUG ONE onThursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. in 104 Golisano Hall on the Hartwick College campus in Oneonta, NY.

    Dave will bring us up to speed on recent macOS Mojave and iOS 12 announcements, exciting new Mac and iPad product releases, new updates to Apple’s latest creative applications for Mac and iPad, plus new Apple education curriculum tools and fun enhancements to ARKit-enabled augmented reality apps for iPad and iPhone.

    Dave has conducted thousands of technology presentations, keynote addresses and workshops for schools, Mac and PC user groups, businesses and other professional organizations across the United States and Canada. His specialty areas include digital multimedia, internet technologies, accessibility and Mac/PC integration.

    As always, the meeting will begin with a question and answer session and end with a door prize drawing for current members.

    Join us on Thursday,  March 14 at 7:30 p.m. in 104 Golisano Hall on the Hartwick College campus in Oneonta, NY for the March meeting of MUG ONE, the Macintosh User Group of Oneonta, NY.

    Brian FoleyMark Dye and Elsa Travisano will show us how to get the most from Apple’s PagesNotes and Preview applications. The most recent updates of these applications are the most powerful yet, with plenty of new and enhanced features.
